You already know this work. You know how to help someone shower without making them feel embarrassed. You know how to calm a client with dementia who’s convinced it’s 1974. You know which clients need you to talk and which ones just need you to be there.

We provide non-medical in-home care for seniors and adults with disabilities across Des Moines, West Des Moines, Urbandale, Grimes, Johnston, Clive, Norwalk, Pleasant Hill and Altoona. Our whole philosophy fits in four words: reliable, compassionate care. Families count on us to keep their loved ones safe and comfortable at home, and we count on caregivers like you to make that happen.
The work you already do well
- Bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting, with dignity
- Safe transfers, mobility help and fall prevention

Training that respects your experience. You'll get paid, hands-on training, taught in person at our Urbandale office on real equipment, with certificates to show for it. You already know a lot. We’ll help you go further with transfers, dementia care and mechanical lifts.

What you need
Experience caring for others, whether at another agency, in a facility, or as an independent caregiver. If you’ve done in-home care before, you already know what this job asks of you, and you already know why it’s worth it.
The honest part
Switching agencies is a big decision, and we won’t pretend every day here is easy. You’ll still work on your own in clients’ homes, and some days will still break your heart a little. The difference is you won’t be carrying it alone.
